A field app the crew will actually use

A native mobile app that runs on any phone or tablet, where crews log time, photos, materials, daily field reports, and safety from the field. It's offline-safe and syncs the moment signal returns.

Built for the crew on the job site

A field app only works if the crew uses it, and crews only use it when it's fast, works even when cell signal is non-existent, and doesn't ask them to re-enter the same information time and time again. SitewideOps runs as the one system everyone works from, so a foreman opens the app to exactly what they need to see and logs what's needed with minimal effort. The money is made by doing the work, not the paperwork, so we built the platform to keep time from being wasted on forms.

Everything the crew captures (hours, photos, materials, daily reports, safety) hits job cost, allocated to the work order or project it was logged against. There's no separate field spreadsheet to reconcile, and no re-keying between what happened in the field and what your controller reports.

What the crew does from their phone

One app covers the whole field day, from clock-in to the closing report.

Offline outbox sync

Job sites lose signal. The app queues everything in an offline outbox and syncs it back the moment a connection returns. Nothing captured in the field gets lost.

Time clock & time

Clock in and out with an optional geolocation stamp, or log hours by cost code. Those hours hit job cost and roll straight into certified payroll: one entry, not three.

Photos & materials

Attach job-site photos and record the materials installed against the work order, so progress and material usage are documented as they happen.

Daily field reports

A structured daily report for work done, delays, issues, labor, materials, subcontractors on site, and safety, with the job-site weather pulled in automatically.

Safety in the field

Log safety incidents and observations right from the report, tied to the crew, job, and day, so the safety record is built as work happens, not reconstructed later.

Comments & notifications

Comment on a visit, report, or project with @mentions; the person you tag is notified inside the app and by a push notification on their phone, so a field question reaches the office without a phone call.

Field data that hits job cost and pays the crew

The point of capturing the day in the field is that it goes somewhere useful. In SitewideOps, field entries flow straight into the systems the office runs:

  • Job costing. Field hours and material land on the source-document cost ledger by cost code, allocated to the work order or project they were logged against: real costs, so Finance reconciles without a month-end scramble.
  • Certified payroll. The same time entries that hit job cost produce WH-347 reports, with no separate certified-payroll spreadsheet to maintain.
  • The productivity log. Daily-report labor entries feed the WIN productivity log, so you can see installed units against budget per crew.
  • Weather on the report. Once the report date and job site are set, that day's job-site weather is pulled in automatically, so conditions are documented without anyone typing them.

Because the app and the office share one database, a foreman's daily report is the office's cost, payroll, and productivity data, all at once.

The office side is right there too. The same jobs, schedules, and reports the crew touches in the field are what dispatchers and project managers work from at the desk: no import, no sync window, no second version of the truth.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Yes. It's a native app that runs on any phone or tablet with an offline outbox: crews log time, photos, materials, reports, and safety even with no connection, and everything syncs back automatically when signal returns. A job site with dead cell coverage is exactly the environment it's built for.

Work-done, delay, issue, and internal notes; labor by crew; materials installed; subcontractors on site; and safety, plus the job-site weather for that day, pulled in automatically once the date and location are set. It captures the whole field day in one place.

That's the design. The time crews log (whether from the time clock or by cost code) hits job cost on the source-document ledger and feeds WH-347 certified payroll from the same entry. There's no re-keying between the field, job costing, and payroll.

No. You can capture time right in the app or on the platform (clock in and out, or log hours by cost code) or keep the timekeeping or payroll system you already run and connect it through the open API, so hours flow through once instead of being re-entered or imported every week. Use ours, use yours, or use both.

Yes. Clock-in and clock-out are a tap, with an optional geolocation stamp captured at each. Clocking out computes the hours and creates the real time entry, complete with its burdened rate, so the clock and the cost ledger stay in sync.

Through comments with @mentions on visits, reports, and projects. Tagging someone notifies them two ways (inside the app, and with a push notification on their phone), so a question from the field reaches the right person at the office without a separate text or call.

No. The report, the time clock, the materials log, and the safety forms work the same for a roofing crew, a mechanical crew, an electrical crew, a glazing crew, or a concrete crew. Cost codes, items, and classifications are your own, so the crew sees your vocabulary, not a template.
